And:
1. If you're in a 40% bracket, you're makin' a heckuva lot more money than most MTs. That's nice, but it's not the norm in this biz. I'm in a 30% bracket, & make about $19K/yr. doing MT and what's left over after taxes isn't enough to live on.
2. Most of the rich have so many loopholes they pay little to no taxes. I'm not talking about the people with 6-figure incomes. I'm talking about REALLY rich.
3. So, I got a $600 stimulus check, too. But in almost the same time frame, I get this letter from the IRS saying I actually earned LESS money than my W2 from my employer said I made, and according to THEIR fuzzy math, instead of the couple hundred refund I was supposed to get back, I got ZIP. I wonder how many people that had to happen to, in order for the Prez. to be able to pay for trying to buy our votes over to his party with this so-called 'gift from the government'? It was our money to begin with. Did I use it to stimulate his crappy economy? Certainly NOT! I put it aside for the inevitable rainy day that'll surely be coming if the citizens of the U.S. are DUMB enough to fall for all that bull**** and vote for 4 more years of the same policy.
