Thank you - we are all OK. I had my 2 kids and niece with me. It went right between my house and my neighbor's house. It took out my neighbor's garage and our shed, our deck, 4 windows and a skylight, a door, and several trees. It ripped out our wooden swingset, which was pounded into the ground, and hurled it about 200 yards across our cornfield in back. I don't know how it missed our house - we need to get our house re-sided, but other than that, no drywall damage inside...we were very lucky. Just down the road from us several houses were leveled. |
