prayer, please include this request. Yesterday afternoon about 5:15 I left my wallet laying on the regist at Wal-Mart. The cashier mistakenly gave my wallet to the lady behind me in the checkout line. She saw the wallet laying there after that lady had checked and just automatically assumed that it was hers and took it to her in the parking lot. The poor girl didn't think to check for any information (driver's license, etc) before she just handed it to the other lady. Management went back and looked at the video and are pretty sure it was my wallet. The other lady did pay out of a wallet that looked similar to it, but they could see another wallet laying on a different part of the checkout the entire time, so they're pretty sure the other lady has my wallet. I have taken the necessary precaution of reporting the 1 credit card I had in there and will call my bank this morning to report my debit card as lost and put a stop payment on 3 checks that were in there. I didn't have a lot of available cash (aobut $25.0o or so) but I did have about $350.00 of tithe money in there, too. And, of course, my wallet and my social security card are in there, too. Please help me pray and trust that this lady will be honest and return that wallet if, indeed, it is mine. Thanks. Merry Christmas!! |
