I've read some of your posts here on MTStars. You sound like a WONDERFUL mommy to the furry kids. :) I have three bassetts that I love so much! I know how you feel. When they don't feel good or get sick, you worry so much. When I read your post, I was hoping that maybe Sasha had an infected salivary gland. My bassett had a huge lump in her neck and turned out to be infected salivary gland. She is fine. I have another bassett that has lipomas all over, and has for a few years. My vet said that's common in bassetts, she had a bassett like that. She said she'd operate on them and they'd just come back. So we have never had her lipomas taken off. She has a HUGE one on her rib cage area. She is 11 y/o.
Anyway, I didn't mean to get side tracked on my dogs. I hope your Sasha will still have more years to bring you happiness. Keep us posted.
