A few years ago a friend of mine's daughter was getting married. His daughter was going to wear a white dress, and he was afraid of what people would think because everyone knew his daughter had been living with her fiance. I told him white symbolizes purity of heart, and that I didn't know anyone who was more pure of heart than his daughter. She wore white, and Daddy was happy too.
