very sorry, I should have looked it up before I wrote that. but it WAS splenda she was allergic to and apparently a lot of other people have reactions to it. I'm not knocking Splenda, just thought I'd mention it in case the OP had recently started using it. I thought my daughter's experience might help someone else, since she went to the doctor 3 times and we ended up figuring it out on our own.
