I'm your age, so I know what you're talking about. Try to keep your blood sugar/energy on an even keel throughout the day, especially when you're working those long hours. A protein drink (make sure it's not high in sugar), a handful of raw almonds, even a slice or two of deli meat every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day will do wonders for keeping you mentally alert. Since you've been doing this for so many years, I assume you know where the commas go and that you're just trying to work fast enough to earn a decent paycheck and pay your bills and, therefore, end up with those QA dings. You're not alone.
