I was (and still am) on a music board for a band and quite a few of us met first through emails, then phone calls and then concerts, and finally we had get togethers every year for about 4-5 years alternating at each other's houses. We had so much fun and I never would have met them if it wasn't for the internet.
We haven't seen each other in quite sometime, but we do correspond mostly by email now (phone once in a blue moon), but there are a few of them that live in the same state now that are very close and go to each others's weddings, baby showers, etc. |
