1. For my part of the expenses yes. But if I lost my job, my husband would carry us, though he works 3 jobs, I would not want him to do this for long. We have 3 kids in elementary school and you know you need to buy groceries.
2. I could find a job today if I wanted to, but I don't know if they could set me up by the next payperiod. It usually takes 2 weeks and then you have to wait a week or 2 to get your check.
3. My husband has savings but it has been depleted as my income has decreased as an MT the last few years. Not because of my ability or years experience but because the MTSO somehow changed how they count the lines. 6 months ago I became an IC as my husband now provides insurance and I make a lot more but not yet enough to put money back in savings. Actually my goal as I increase workload is to buy more groceries. We have cut back so far on food, we need to increase the food bill before the savings. Savings will come next instead of a vacation.
