I talked to a recruiter once who told me she could do 700 lines an hour (no, that's not a typo) of straight typing (expanders only, no templates). That's right, girls. 700 lph. Talk about feeling small! 700 lines an hour???? My best is 400 & I'm not doing that now because I'm not doing ops so it's much more straight typing, very little "template-able" text. I posted about it at the time & everyone seemed to agree this was not do-able. So I don't know. Anyway, when I heard that I was ready to throw in the towel.
