no one said anything about not having pride in our work.
QA after all makes numerous mistakes as well. I catch them a lot - it happens. we are all human.
but putting an inhuman expectation back on the MT is only contributing to the issue.
in my past experiences QA has been used to lower pay for MTs, and even worse.
and if you think a lot of companies (not all) are in the business because they care, you could be wrong. mostly they just want the work put out to make the money.
