I work for a hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We got bought out by *** a year or so ago and **** is the one who signed the 5 year contract. No news yet, just that we have a job if we want one. They said it will take the next 36 months to convert over, but you just never know, and I would like to have myself prepared in advance for anything (I am a huge planner and organizer, go figure!). I have heard good and bad as well. The unknown is a killer! They are suppose to be setting up a forum of some sort so we can direct our questions to Spheris. I am hoping and praying for the best possible outcome, but still trying to be prepared and not stupid. Thanks for info. Best wishes to you on your conversion. You will have to keep me posted. |
