because prices are usually lower in lower income neighborhoods, rather than the fancy ones. Even then, and even using my club-card, the prices were MUCH higher than the last time I went shopping 2 weeks ago. Avocados $1.99 EACH? Forget it! Fresh or frozen meat & fish? It's been several years since I've bought those. Brand-name cereals around $5 a box. (Which contains mostly air.) And how about those Quaker granola bars? I LOVE them, but they are now about 1/3 the size they were originally. And of course, much more expensive. I don't know how much more of all this I can take. |
