Is there any way you could send this to a collection agency?  I don't know if it would work for this, but I know that some places that give out equipment (like Direct TV, etc.) has in their contracts that the quipment is only for as long as you have the service and must be returned to them as it's still their property.
I know it's not the same thing, but it seems like this would fall into that category as it was assumed that it's still your equipment and they were only allowed to use it as they were working for you.
I agree that it's stealing. You wouldn't go into an office and just take equipment home from there, so what gives you the right to take it from a company via mail? |
