Three days ago I was about to quit a very lucrative job because they said I couldn't use Shorthand, and it wouldn't run from a jump drive. You said, oh yes it would. (Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to post that). I took your advice, loaded it on my jump drive, plugged it in, and voila, my line count shot up again to its usual heights. Philosophical question: Why don't they want us to do the best possible job we can? Why is it always adversarial? Techs/upper management versus MT's? |
