I ended up buying the programable Start-Stop pedal with the switch on the bottom (inside). This still gave me problems. It was the same with either pedal! I ended up not taking that job after trying EVERYTHING to get my pedal and computer to work right with InScribe. I tried 3 different computers, re-formatted 2 of the computers, starting my computer with only the "bare essentials" running, installed more memory.....You name it! The only thing I can guess is that my computer is too old, or the processor is not powerful enough. I did use Express Scribe and it worked just fine, except for the formatted blank (time stamp).
