The times were not always like they are now. I certainly had reports in this small town on people I knew, some very well. I even went so far as to bring up this question and I was told I knew my job and what I needed to do, there was no one else and I was trusted to keep it to myself and I never had an issue with it as long as it was approved. HIPPA was not around back in the dinosaur era, but confidentiality was and it was adhered to. By the way, Hollywood managed to keep a lot more secrets than they do today with all our laws in place. |
