First I find out I am not getting paid for certain lines (which I was NOT told upon my hire), then I find out I am let go with no word as to why. Hmm, I am most definitely going to be warning people about this place!!!

There's more to this story than she or he is saying. No legitimate company is going set themselves up for a wrongful termination lawsuit. Perhaps poster's work is extremely poor, is way below the prodution requirement, or the poster doesn't show up for work on her/his scheduled days.

NOW, either that or the company is a scam to get work done for free then let one go. The companies that are scams almost always have warning signs before you get sucked in.

We're just saying that there's a piece missing somewhere is all. Something doesn't fit, so you need to fill in the blanks. If all is well with the MT's performance, you don't just "get ditched," unless something is funny with the so-called MT company. It's one or the other.

What a wonderful company Diskriter used to be. Honest and treated their employees with class. Now the company is a front for offshore transcription that provides crappy transcription service and treats employees horribly. If anyone is looking to work for this company I would think twice. I was doing pretty good with my line count for the week, hoping to make a decent bonus tier for this last week before the new pay plan rolls out. Then, BOOM... nearly all reports are straight transcription this morning. Long op notes that I usually edit this time each day (and can get a very good LPH) I now have to type out. Wrote my supervisors an email that I was quitting and said all the things I have wanted to say for so long but didn't dare, then proceeded to delete all their software from my computer, including email, and will never look back. I have tried on 3 different computers and could not open on any of them (different operating systems and versions). the last one said a threat was detected; however, when I check the sender it does come from Nuance.
