Sounds about right. My computer had been not working properly for months and after months and months of repeatedly calling tech support and complaining, one of the tech guys said my computer was too old and outdated hardware wise to be able to run DQS, which completely explained why it would keep freezing up and kicking me out when I would try to work. So, I got a new computer sent (it took three months before they finally sent me one after it was requested). Two weeks later they demanded I send back the old one. I told them I certainly wasn't going to send it back to them, that if they wanted their property, they were going to have to pay for it because what they pay me doesn't even cover my rent anymore!!!! They sent me a prepaid label, which I then used the next day (of course I had to buy a box as the old computer was too large for the new computer's box). I tracked it with UPS and sent it with a signature required and verified it arrived. Two months after that I got a nasty phone call stating they never received the computer and that I was facing legal actions. I sent them the full information that clearly illustrated that it arrived to them and was signed for. They said it did not. I then got a letter in the mail stating I was about to be sued if I didn't return their computer. As of right now I don't know what is going on as I didn't respond in anyway. What was I supposed to do? I sent it back, somebody signed for it, and UPS records (which I printed out) state that it went where it was supposed to. Not my problem legally. |
