i think we are agreeing. right?
my only problem with medquist, since i got hired right around the time a lot of these changes started occurring (october 2006) and thus am not aware of how flexible or how much better it was here in the past, is that the pay is crappy. the fact that i have to get a 2nd part-time MT job, and work 55 hours a week to survive kind of pisses me off. at the same time, i know i'm among the majority of people in the world who have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. so i'm accepting it.
and for those of you angry about the cbay stuff and outsourcing and all, i just want to say that i am NOT trying to invalidate your feelings or minimize anything you are saying.
just a month ago i was on here, so angry and depressed, a lot of folks told me if i'm this unhappy, i need to quit this place, find another job. sometimes its just not that easy. and as much as we might not like medquist...we WOULD suffer and it WOULD hurt if we lost our jobs. i'm guessing a lot of us are a paycheck away from being homeless, so its not like we can just up and do something rash with no consequences. i DO understand the negativity and the anger. and when i'm in that state, its annoying to have someone come along and say...stop being so negative, go take a walk, find a better job. you just want to smack them, right? : )
so....thats all. carry on.
