are not just floating around the Internet. They are uploaded to the client and a digital record is stored by the MTSO. None of these reports are going to be found on the Internet. If they are, something went very, very wrong.
As far as records leaving the country, if the work to be transcribed goes to a location that is not in the US, then they will be stored at that entity's facility and they will no longer be physically STORED in the US.
There could be a perceived security issue for the client. However, most MTSOs will offshore at least a percentage of their work in the future, if they are not already. They will send as much as possible, depending on the comfort level of the clients they serve and cost benefit to those clients. |
