Try this: While you're in the C-pool, find an account you really like. I came across one one time in Las Vegas that was exceptionally good. If I ever transfer, I'm heading there.

When you find this account, call your PS up and tell her you never get your primary, you're always in the national pool and you would like to switch to this new account even though you realize you will be under a new supervisor. Tell her you have some experience with it and ask if you can switch to that pool.

I got an offer of this nature, which I turned down because I wasn't willing to give up my PS, but I know that they allow this to happen and it does happen.

If your PS doesn't take kindly to this suggestion, go over her head and have a conversation with the manager of your area. Tell the manager your idea and ask her if she has any other ideas that would work because you really would like to work for MQ, but you are virtually primary-less and cannot continue in this direction (but only make this latter claim if you are truly willing to move on, you don't want to end up with an unexpected ultimatum).

Stay positive.

I have spend a lot of time on the phone talking with my supervisors and managers. I'm a big advocate of communication.

I truly don't know how people continue to work the C-pool every day. I could not and would not do it. There's only so much stress a person can take, not to mention the extreme drop in income.

Good luck to you.
