and there are lots of discussions on the conditions of being MQQA right now. Lots more to weight in on then QASAR. If you're going to do it, just don't let anybody tell you its a step up from MT, or anything important. In my experience, its probably less respected than MTing. Thankless job across the board, so you have to be able to be satisfied just with your own self, knowing you are doing your best. Nobody is there to give you a pat on the back or praise. Much more solitary and isolated than MTing, which was pretty dang isolated. Hourly rate is OK. With CBay changes, I believe QA will be the first to get the hatchet, but that's just my opinion. I don't believe I'm alone on that theory tho. |
