I know for a fact, at least with the client I work for, they have written in their contract absolutely no work sent overseas as I am sure other clients do. I am thinking they will need to honor those contracts until the contract is up or the client will go elsewhere. If my client does go elsewhere, I will just follow them as I have in the past. I guess it is wishful thinking, but I do not think drastic changes, if any happen to occur, will be happening for quite awhile as transition takes time. My PS said right now they cannot afford to lose another MT as they are losing MTs. I for one will sit tight for a while. With the way the economy is going, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing is a for sure thing anymore and I think a secure job is a thing of the past--now that is sad. |
