their own system that the dictators record on through Dictaphone and using Wordperfect. They used to have an in-house transcription department and those that did critical care in-house moved to home but still work for the hospital as employees with all the benefits (lots of hospital do this). To do the ER reports, I will just have to have dictaphone equipment, dial in to their server like we used to do a few years back, and bingo transcribe. The programmers at the hospital know how to do it and can set it up. I don't know ALL the specific right now, but that is primarily how it works. |
