come together and begin addressing this issue before it is too late.

The only way I can see the medical facilities staying within US for transcription services is to give them huge tax credits for doing so along with creating a MT owned business to get rid of the multimillion dollar CEOs.

It is only a matter of time, you know, before we end up like the auto workers and others in manufacturing.

Working on this should be paramount unless you want to see us plunged into poverty with a two week notice. The dollar is crashing and the future looks bleak (someone is going to see a raise in income taxes to pay for the GOPs huge deficit.)

I know MT tend to be shy and reserved but in most offices I ahve worked in, there is usually one or two women who have leadership qualities.

I apologize if I sound urgent, but I think urgency is necessary.

Remember, in Calif, malpractice suits are limited to compensation to the individual for a certain amount, causing doctors/medical providers to not only have to pay less for malpractice insurance but the lid on the amount given to the patient is causing attorneys not to take on any but the dying patient. This has opened a door to substandard transcription as errors are not as costly as they once were. $200,000 is punitive damage cap. It costs about 200,000 to defend - expert analysis and testimony - that is why one must realize that Calif could be setting a trend.

Time to take action. Surely, there are passionate workaholic MTs with business skills.
