some touching up (slightly, but has the idea). I am noticing more today than yesterday that there ARE some getting on board with the whole en masse thing. Check this out also, Dish who widely farmed out its phone service offshore, has now taken it back because of quality and customers complaining they couldn't understand who they were talking to. The real bottom line is going to be the clients, how much they know about the work being offshored, how much they care, quality will be an issue also. For instance, how many emails have you gotten from a manager or supervisor about clients complaining about something? They DO care about quality!
So, who is going to deliver the letter? I certainly would not suggest an MQ employee do it, ethically. Here is something I have been wondering about, what about writing to the AAMT (or whatever they are called now). I was a CMT when I transcribed and this is an organization that supports US transcriptionists with membership????? I wonder? It is all very interesting to watch the board for opinions and responses, so much so that for the past 2 days that has been my focus. Let's see what happens, especially after the holidays when some who were gone when this all started come back to work. Thanks! |
