I started in 1995 with TL and yes, I have to agree liked it much better back then. Felt important. Made more money (even working just part-time)ASR is good on fingers but not paycheck. Miss being able to make own schedule. Seemed to be able to accomplish more that way. I have a problem concentraing doing ASR, I am not a big reader and I seem to go off into space when I am doing it. Got any advice? I cannot seem to get to far ahead of the speaking or I lose my place. I have to follow along with the doctor speaking almost word for word or I lose my place. I too am considering going into something else just hard as I live in the middle of nowhere and jobs do not pay that well here and with gas prices the way they are, hard to see where I would come out ahead.
