I know the same HIPPA regulations apply when work is sent out overseas, but it was not long ago that they found out that a lot of our information was being stolen and many people had access to person files of many patients that had not been protected. There apparently has been a breach in information, or they would not have sent this note out to the MTs, or they feel this might happen, but I would be more afraid of having work go offshore! |
