that sounds like a really interesting read. when i've been at my lowest, mostly because of the pathetic paychecks here, i've contemplated cutting off a finger and getting on disability.  not seriously, but in the back of mind, i've wondered about it.   the job isn't extinct yet, but it soon will be, so we better act fast, heh...
