I taught our son how to cook, do laundry, clean and even iron (which he doesn't do too well but does know how). Now that he is living on his own, he has told me many times how much he appreciates being taught how to do these things. Luckily, both of our children are doing well on their own and, thankfully, aren't sponging off of us, like some kids I know. |
