We taught them. I did the English grammar and science stuff and my husband, the electrical engineer, did all the math stuff. I think it is really sad that EVERYONE gets a trophy now in sports and other events. Kids don't learn how to deal with disappointment anymore. They don't know how to admit they were wrong and correct it. They just blame their failure on everyone else. Wonder what is going to happen when all us baby boomers retire and companies have to deal with all these whiny babies who want everything handed to them on a silver platter (also an old saying). |
