The man who wrote the Planet of the Apes books also wrote a book, The Executioner, which I read in 9th grade. It is a short book about the person who did the head chopping in ancient times. He felt so bad about the supposed criminals suffering by the chopping that he poisoned them before he chopped the heads off.

He ultimately was found out, and tried for murder. It is an interesting conumdrum which I ponder as I grow older and less able to function at this job. Would I be guilty of some kind of fraud if I went on disability from a job that I know will probably shortly no longer exist (in the form I've known all my working life) because I know it's not going to be there in the future?

Does this make any sense to you? I know I digress, but I don't see how anyone of us could go on disability once we are all replaced by ILPs or ASR. Heaven knows my mind is about shot, and my thumbs are so arthritic I can't pick anything up.

just curious
