This makes me so very sick to hear all of this garbage. There is no shortage of MTs, and as you stated our work here is being undercut and taken away by offshoring our work. MQ is making out big time by turning us into editors, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Our pay has been drastically cut, and now that we cannot make our line counts they are taking away our medical benefits, which obviously works out fine for the company. I feel so low these days, and I have said this before that I feel our wages are being taken away from us. How can we possibly stand for this, especially in this country. No, I don't think the government is aware of this. I had to give my employer the other day at the doctor's office because of the change in employment and guess what, they have heard of MedQuist, and know they are the biggest transcription company around, yet when I told them they offshore they found it hard to believe.
This is so very unfair in every possible way. They are saving money with ASR big time. |
