so this other company i'm checking out said they pay by the keystrokes. i'd never heard of that. she said it is comparable to about 7 to 10 cents per line. anyone ever work for a place that pays by keystrokes? and how has that worked for you?
i'm probably sticking with MQ for now....these people only hire full-time, and i've just had a vacation approved for next month, which i'm not giving up!! haven't had a real vacation in 2 years, though i did take some time off last christmas, but its not the same as actually going somewhere and visiting people. anyway....so yea, sticking with the Q until that perfect job presents itself, though i have been actively looking and applying to a lot of places, but for now i'm going to take a break from all of that until i get back from my vacation.
like i've said, i would not mind staying here if i could find a good part-time job as well, or finding another full-time job and sticking with MQ part-time. but one job, no matter who i work for, is not going to make it easy for me to make it financially. but i'm feeling really positive that things are going to work out, so thats good.
