i currently have 2 computers, my own, and Medquists. and i kind of figured if i were to land a job elsewhere, but keep working for MQ, that i should probably use my own computer for the other job, but just figured i'd ask.
one time, during my first 6 or 8 months here, their computer broke, and we tried downloading DocQScribe onto my own computer, and it wouldn't work, we tried and tried, i was on the phone with tech for what seemed like forever, and it just wouldn't happen. so they sent me a new computer, which has been fine, but our attempts to download docqscribe on my computer, well, it killed it, and i had to take it to someone who could fix computers. it was funky for a while. MQ wouldn't take any responsibility for it, but told me that is one reason they prefer people using their computers. makes sense.
anyway, my computer seems to work fine now, and while i use the MQ computer for some personal needs (i.e. e-mail, looking for jobs, surfing the net), i don't download stuff here, i do all of that on my own computer.
that was a lot of rambling, haha. but yea, so thanks, if i do land another MT job somewhere, hopefully their stuff won't kill my computer like MQs stuff did.
