I was shocked to see this, but I get it quite often in the poo-poo pool now. Can't remember which area it's from... heck, could even be more than one account that does it for as much as I pay attention to the names of all the accounts I get these days. It's hard enough to pay attention to the CP, who cares what the facility's name is.
In my primary grouping I have one account that requires us to enter in the optional ADT field anything that is dictated that doesn't fit in their standard headings... and the worst one is ''Reason for Admission.'' Yes, that's right. Not just simply chest pain or overdose or other one- or two-word thing unless dictated that way... they want the whole sentence that's dictated... even if it's motor vehicle accident on April 8, 2008, resulting in multiple trauma including blah, blah, blah... I have actually run out of room in the ADT spot several times. I just erase and put in the text of the report then... what else can you do.
I'm so sick of this... glad I just got a call from a former PT employer ready to take me on full time. Pretty soon MQ will have us all typing everything in a box outside of the text report and it won't count. |
