can just put whatever you want in the ADT screen, NOT. There are not very many MTSOs out there that pay for ADT or info screens, but that does not mean that you don't fill it out correctly. Patient and doctor names, MRNs, etc. are extremely important on the record. If the wrong name is on the ADT info, then it is the wrong name on the report and does not make it to the hospital staff, and could create serious problems. Therefore, nothing wrong at all for being penalized, dinged, or whatever for not being correct.
It is not illegal to FORCE someone to fill out an ADT screen and not pay for it. It is a part of the job you signed up to do. You know going in you aren't going to be paid for it, so if you don't like it, go somewhere else. |
