If they are now short many thousands of transcriptionists, even with speech recognition and other technologies, it seems like there should still be plenty of jobs available.  How big a portion of the Transcriptionist industry does Medquist have?  If Medquist off-shored all work, there still might be work available for us in US transcription companies.  I wonder why there is such a shortage of labor here in transcriptionists, physicians - seems like a large percentage of ESL.
