Several years ago a study revealed that this country was short several hundred thousand transcriptionists. The only way to get the work done was to go off-shore. I think it is entirely possible that MQ will off-shore everything. It is also possible that they are adding to their work force the only way they can. Whatever the answer is, there is nothing we MTs can do about it except keep working until the axe falls. Each individual MT has to decide if there will be more job security in moving to another company before this happens. |
