picked it up at WalMart for 20$. I It plugs into your USB port and shows up as a removable disk. I just dragged all the files I wanted to move onto the thumb drive and transferred them that way. It requires no formatting. To transfer, you just plug it into the new computer and drag/drop the files from the thumb drive wherever you want them. I did this with wordpad files, MS Word files, even my pictures. |
