Got up yesterday morning, planning to enjoy the morning and head to my son's house for the day. Well, that came to an abrupt halt when I opened my shower door and found 2 inches of sewage and red Alabama mud covering the shower floor. Same thing in my jacuzzi tub. Same thing in 2nd bathroom tub. What a mess. Try to find a plumber on Christmas. After about 10 phone calls (I don't live in a very large town), finally got Roto-Rooter to come out. They temporarily got me back in business, at least so I could clean and Clorox the bathrooms.
It seems there is a broken sewer line in my yard, so now they are here using some camera thingy to see where the problem is, then have to get a backhoe to dig up my yard, to the tune of $1500. Merry Christmas to me!
Besides that, today I am drowning in the work cesspool since there is no work on my accounts. I want to cry. |
