When I was switched over from the old platform to docuscribe we had to be on QA for a period of time. I had one QA that nit picked everything from punctuation to a blank that I left out due to not hearing the dictator correctly. She was not so very nice in her remark in her email regarding the blank I left. One day though she learned something from of me having to do with the MQ style guidelines that were put in place and wanted to know why I was transcribing a particular word in a certain form, and I told her why and where she could find the info, and she never bugged me again! If you are researching items and finding they are being marked incorrrectly repeatedly, I would definitely let your QKS know about it. Good luck and wish you well in your transcription! |
