I thought your previous post meant that you were getting 7 cpl on ASR. Referring to my post below, you would have to do a lot more than 11,000 lines/week of ASR to break even with your 7 cpl transcription rate.
I'm making 9 cpl, full time, 40 hours plus OT when it's offered, and even with the previous daily bonuses offered up until July of this year, and the more recent few, as I stated before, I'm barely going to get to $34,000 gross.
So frankly Ingrid, I don't realistically see you making $40,000 a year at 7 cpl transcription and 4.9 cpl ASR with MedQuist. If you have a lot of experience, are fast, have great accuracy so you can qualify for the bonus, and are offered a lot of overtime, you could possibly do it at that line rate, but it will be difficult and very hard on you.
This is just my opinion, but unless MQ will jump your wages up to 10 cpl, I don't see you meeting your goal of $40,000 here and would advise you to find another company who pays better.
I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do.
