In Reply to: you get what you normally get plus half - mdlfcrs

You can find it in the Harmonization booklet, but basically the formula is:

Total lines x base pay to get total $$ per week.

Total $$ divided by total hours to get $$/hour for the week.

$$/hour rate divided by 2 to determine what the *1/2* part of time and a half would be.

Overtime *1/2* rate x number of hours of overtime to equal what your overtime will be.

So if you produce 8000 lines in 43 hours at 8 cents:

8000 x .08 = $640

$640 divided by 43 hours = $14.88/hour

$14.88 divided by 2 = $7.44

$7.44 x 3 hours of OT = $22.32 of OT pay.

So your total pay for the week would be $662.32 including your OT and regular pay... if I did the math right!... but you get the idea.

Hope this helps. Note that this changes every week based on the number of total lines you do and the total number of hours you work. If you are a higher producer per hour, your rate will be higher, and the reverse for lower production. Just remember that we need to maintain our minimum lph, either 150 or 100 depending on our employee status.

Good luck... the OT really adds to the bonus this week if you work the extra.
