In Reply to: Confusion on bonus calculations...sm - Befuddled

Use Sunny's calculation below to get your average weekly amount (see her post below):
----------------------
If you go into DoQmanage and total each week separately from September 2 to October 27, then eliminate your highest and lowest weeks. Add the other 6 weeks that are left together and divide by 6 to get your average.

--------------

You then take this number and multiple it by 1.02 (2% increase) and you have the weekly amount you need to surpass.

----------------------
Now here's my post using an example of someone below who calculated using Sunny's formula an average line count per hour of 164 before the 2% increase (basically they took their weekly average from Sunny's example above before the 2% increase and divided by the number of hours they are scheduled to work in one week to get this number, 164, which was their average line count per hour):

If you average 164 lines, then:
164 x 1.02 (percent) = 167.28 (round down to 167), so far, so good (this is the line count you need to beat, which is 2% above your average).

Then say you bust your butt to get 200 lines an hour:

200-167=33 lines per hour

Say you work 39 hours in a week, you get:

39 (hours) x 33 (extra lines per hour) = 1,287 lines/week

1,287 lines x 10 cents = $128.70.

--------------------
Now they can at any time stop doing the bonus, at which point the days become prorated, so if they stopped the bonus after 5 days, they would take your weekly averaged number (which is your average weekly line count + 2%), say 5,000, and times that by 5/7 to get 3,571 and whatever lines you had typed over that amount at that point you would get the bonus for.

---------------
This is the math the way I see it. If anyone has a better explanation or if this looks wrong in some way, please post.
