I, too, have been VERY frustrated this week, but I finally got my first APPEAL result back just tonight. My 4 points off, 2 each for two abusive flagging were REVERSED!!!!
It was explained in the email that everyone is getting used to the new system and the wrong error was placed by the QA person, just as I have recently seen here. It sounds like it was the first position used to be Appropriate QA Marker error and I got the Abusive Flagging markers instead. Once I saw this mentioned here, I figured that's what it had to be, and sure enough, that's how it turned out.
I'm now a little more optimistic that my other several reports with the same thing will also be overturned to zero, and that this is truly just a short-term snafu-type of thing.
