Okay, there is a shortage of nurses and apparently too many of them are used to dictate. We can do that! We know how to put sentences together, how to pronounce drugs, the correct meaning of words, and the fact that every noun cannot be made into a verb. We can look through charts for lab values and dates. I think we could do a much better job of this and free the nurses up to use their skills. |
