I just plug in this old lap top I got at a pawnbroker's into the cigarette lighter, works great; I do get a bit claustrophic sometimes though. The worst are the bugs that fly on to the monitor, so was swatting one and broke the plexi-glass on the monitor, but it's okay, I can still read about 60% of what I'm typing. Ah, those were the days when I lived in a house ....
