Okay, here is what you do

First off, support cannot recover your expansion file if you have logged off DocQScribe as DocQscribe saves what is there when you log off and that is what support will have, the corrupted file.


This happened to me and I did a SYSTEM RESTORE and got my expansions back. Then I called support and they copied my expansions to a file in My Documents. Now at the end of every shift I copy my expansions to this file. That way, when my expansions get corrupted again I can call support and they will go in and copy that file to DocQscribe for me, all you lose is what you added to expansions since the last time you saved them. The name of the file that holds your expansions is user.aco. Support can help you with all this.


I also bought a 2 GB flash drive, under $20, and once a week I copy my expansions to this and that way I will have them in case the computer crashes or I go to another company, well worth the money believe me.


It is devastating to have your expansions corrupted, I know from experience. Hope this helps and good luck. Feel free to email me if you need more information.
